Greetings! I have celiac disease and RA, I have kept two months autoimmune protocol, but not reduced the carb. I really felt better, no pain in the joints. But now I have a week of almost daily headache, a sense of tightness. The water I drink enough of what else it could be the reason? Thanks for your guesses.

If your diet is not contaminated by gluten, grains, dairy, eggs or nightshades, it may be to an intolerance to histamine/tyramine/arginie. Do you eat fermented foods, vinegar, sulfured dried fruits, smoked fish, bacon, jerky, ham or other preserved meat/fish, cocoa/chocolate, cinnamon anise, and other spices or nuts?

Probably, got gluten. In two weeks the headache calmed down. Simply I never was hurt by the head from gluten earlier, it and confused me. Thank you! – yesto Apr 19 2012 at 7:56

Is it a possiblity that you had a gluten (or something else) exposure last week?

Thank you, I once again take a look at my menu, I keep a diary every day, eat only fish, meat, some vegetables and fruits. – yesto Mar 21 2012 at 10:18
