Hello guys!

I'm doing a little research about the drinks that we have possible drunk in Paleolithic times.

So far, my guess is that we have access to fresh water, milk (for babys and who know some adults) and blood (as inuits and masai for instance).

Are you aware of any study related to drinks in paleolithic times?

Thanks,

Coconut water is an obvious drink. I am sure they fermented a lot of stuff for drinking. – anand srivastava Mar 21 2012 at 10:36
They "fermented a lot of stuff" without pottery and while constantly on the move? Seems unlikely to me, but what do I know. Maybe NorCal margaritas were on tap daily. – Dave S. Mar 21 2012 at 19:21
Yes coconut water could have been an option in warmer latitudes but during the ice age I guess that just water or blood. – Nirgal Mar 22 2012 at 9:47
