Hello All,
I have a question about some things I have been reading about Muscle and Fat density/Size
I have started measuring my progress with a measuring tape and clothing and realize that the scale is non-sense..but here are my questions:
If I had the same pair of pants when I was skinny-fat..and have now put on muscle and lost fat..Why do these same pants fit so tightly around the leg area? If muscle is 1/3 the size of fat...than why does it feel/appear bigger?
How does one gain muscle without actually creating more volume or circumference on their measurements?
Is this to do with the type of muscle built? I am a textbook Mesomorph..so my muscles always turn out very shapely...but i would like to work towards long leaner Ectomorph-type musculature...rather than protruding Quads etc...
Hope this isn't too confusing...Thanks!
Current Week of training includes - Lots of long walking (hoping to lean out legs) mixed with Interval Sprints, some HIIT circuit stuff (body weight resist.) and a 5km low intensity run maybe once a week. <----- Any of this not helping my goals?
