I've been on a strict Paleo diet for almost 2 years and I'm loving life however if I could have one cheat meal without any consequence I would loveeee a Grilled Cheese!
Some kind of awesome pasta dish, along with some cheesy garlic bread. Mmmmm..... I may have to clear a weekend so I can do this and be miserable in bed for a couple days.
I find this a difficult question. I can't pick just one because they are not always as satisfying as I have in mind. No idea how that comes but last week the pancakes were delicious and yesterday they were so dry and definitely not tasty. The same happens with the fries and eclairs.
Anyhow, my preferable cheat meal would be:
Pancakes from Bruges vs. BELGIAN fries vs. éclairs
Pasta with loads of garlic bread on the side. Then double cream condensed milk icecream and waffles, pancakes, panettone and espresso and those sugary cola bottle sweets. Then another coffee and Spanish crispy palmeritas and a French pan au chocolat.
Then finally a shared tarte tatin, candle light Argentine Tango and roll in the bed with a beautiful woman.
Sorry got a bit carried away there.
Definitely pizza. Very thin, very crispy on the bottom, from a wood-fired oven. A slice so big you have to fold it up to eat it, and the cheese is browned on top, with sausage, pepperoni, and mushrooms lurking under there. With copious quantities of beer. This has been my fantasy meal since Day 1. Oddly, I even did have a treat day with a little pizza, but it wasn't THAT pizza, and it sucked. It has to be THAT pizza, or NO pizza, from now on.
