Yay, fun times, so a throwaway account. I'll be clear here- this is HPV genital warts. I have been pretty paleo for awhile, but when the outbreak occurred recently I hadn't had the best diet. Now I know it's here to stay for awhile, but I'd like to speed it on its way and maybe even have a bonus of building a better immune system.

So far my plate is getting more vitamin A, vitamin C, and folate. Any other tips for building up the immune system for fighting these kind of things off?

Short-term high doses of D3 (40,000 IUs/day for 2-3 days) has kicked other viruses for me, so it is definitely worth a try.

Do you take the D3 in pill form? If so what brand? I have been taking 5000 from THorne and lately Ihave been feeling a bit sick (from a cold I think). I have heard about curing a cold with high dosages of D3 for a few days ONLY. – TrynAgain Mar 24 2012 at 15:10
I take Carlson's Solar D Gems. Really cheap through iHerb.com – Dragonfly Mar 24 2012 at 16:00

Can't speak for HPV specifically, but Vitamin K2 in large doses (15mg daily for me, but it may be overkill and I'm thinking of stepping it down) along with D3 has prevented me from getting a cold all cold & flu season, and cured some fungal stuff I previously couldn't shake. Get a vial of the Thorne K2 drops (pricey but a good value per mg) off of Amazon.

I've heard of applying tea tree oil topically if the warts are visible on the outside. Eat as clean as possible. I take echinacea for just about everything dealing with the immune system. I've also drink Pau D'Arco tea to boost my immune system. Sometimes I mix my echinacea and pau d'arco teas together. Not sure if there are any negative interactions going on with the mixing of the two, but I do it.

A strict sugar free phase can stop or clear a hpv outbreak. I don't know if that includes natural sugars like fruit or not but definitely no sugar or sweet stuff for the hpv to live off.
