I am a tea lover, so my preference shifts often...right now, my fave is Eco Teas Mate' and their Roobois Chai brewed together, blended with butter and coconut oil, vanilla, stevia, nutmeg, cinnamon and cardomom...bulletproof coffee style...so delicious and satisfying! I also love tulsi (holy basil) which is a very calming and relaxing herb.
anything from Teavana.com
ive never ordered it...its very expensive....but my friend get it and it is AMAZING they are free leaf (more like free fruit, herb, and leaf) teas that need no sweeteners or anything.
I used to love organic sencha green tea but since I need to completely avoid caffeine (because of adrenal fatigue), I have discovered rooibos tea (which is totally CAFFEINE-FREE) and love it. I feel like it helps very gently with my energy levels without exhausting my adrenals. Plus it contains a lot of antioxidants too!
I love rose petal black tea with cream. Oh, so fragrant! But I'm also really enjoying my new nightcap - coconut milk infused with turmeric and chai spices (no actual tea) and finished with a bit of honey or stevia. I sieve it through a gold coffee filter and actually end up with a really lovely, smooth tea. And it's a coconut cream BOMB. YUM. I can get a substantial amount of turmeric into myself this way, and it's great for inflammation.
I pulled way back on my processed tea consumption after I found out about the massive amounts of fluoride in green, kombucha as well as black teas coming from Asia. Especially after this post from Chris http://chriskresser.com/bad-news-for-tea-drinkers
Now I boil some filtered water while adding one cinnamon stick and 4-7 thin slices of fresh Ginger steep for 20 minutes and add some Stevia or honey if you like.
Mighty leaf "Organic detox infusion". I'm at the coffee shop right now sipping on a cup of it. Last time I did this, three days ago, I felt a disconcerting flush go through my whole body, my brain turning over inside my skull, and if I'd been standing I fear I would have fainted. But the sex has been better ever since, and I actually WANT to exercise in the mornings. Probably just a coincidence. My body was probably just ready to shift gears, and it happened with the tea on hand. But if it happens again this time, I'm hooked.
Other than that, I like ooland or cinnamon roiboos, after a morning kick with budget-brand black tea.
