Anyone else find it weird that they're advertising on the Paleohacks main page? I guess I shouldn't, but I do.

All sorts of horrible ads popping up now, none of them Paleo. They'll post on any site related to diet and health. – Renee Apr 12 2012 at 20:20

They probably don't know they're advertising here. It's Google AdWords, contextual advertising. That means the ad buyers select a bunch of keywords related to their ad, and AdWords matches their ad up with pages containing those keywords. So if the home page happens to have words like 'diabetes' and 'weight loss' on it when the AdWords bot analyzes it, it's not surprising that it gets ads like that. (I say "probably" because it is possible to buy specific spots on specific sites through AdWords, but most advertisers let it find spots contextually.) – Aaron B. Apr 12 2012 at 20:48

Dr. Bernsteins's Diabetes book is a great read though. Its pretty logically sound.

What about the "Schwan's" ad? Good grief! "dine in. Chill out." give me a break!
