I am a coach for Beachbody and want to start a first time ever team of purely paleo people. Is there anyone out there interested in showing people the benefits of primal eating?

Probably not... – Dave S. Apr 19 2012 at 13:13
Wait ... didn't Mark Sisson (and/or doesn't he still) do the nutrition and supplementation research for P90x? Isn't the suggested BB/P90x diet 80% "Primal^TM" already? Just tell people to ditch the grains and legumes for the most part, and you are pretty much at what Sisson recommends for "Primal" these days. – greymouser Apr 19 2012 at 14:12

It sounds like beachbody is trying to recruit sales people. – D.K. Apr 19 2012 at 14:45

Many of us are interested in showing people the benefits of paleo/primal eating. I myself have been pretty turned off from Beachbody because of the random salespeople friending me on Facebook because they "noticed we are both interested in health and fitness" and then proceed to try to sell me their wares. When I used to have Shape and Fitness mags on my feed, their threads were always full of BB coaches (saleswomen) raving about "my chocolate Shakeology blah blah..." They all seemed like very sweet & energetic ladies and I hear good things about the products, but the alternately sneaky and pushy sales tactics left a bad taste in my mouth, and it's not something I'm personally interested in being involved with. We all have to make a living, but I don't like people seeking me out and trying to sell me things, whether it be one of my friends having a "Mary Kay Party" or a stranger on the internet.

Haha. I'm paleo. What does being part of team Beachbody entail? I go to the beach in the summer time. I do Insanity workout DVDs a few times a week, but I don't do any of the P90x or whatever type stuff. I'm paleo in that 95% of yearly calories come from lean meats, fish, eggs, nuts, vegetables, fruits, olive oil, and avocado.

I would be down. I only have power 90 and p90x. I just started paleo like 2 weeks ago. I'm fairly strict as well. Just meat, veggies, limited fruit and nuts. What did you have in mind?

I have a terrible thought on beachbody. The Pro: I do like Leandro Carvaho's videos. Con: I have never been so sick as when I tried shakeology. That stuff is over engineered poison for me. ... then your "coach" drives you crazy! Lol. In this day and age I can find more here and on the internet than anyone there could help me with. But I guess it's nice you are looking into it.
