are they typically washed before freezing? Will there still be pesticides on them?

Pesticides can't be removed completely by washing.Most fruits and veggies get sprayed since seed and continue to be sprayed till harvest and even afterwards,so conventional produce is laden with chemicals regardless of how many times you wash it.Go to EWG website to view the list of the worst offenders and if you can buy them organic. |
