Hey everybody, been lurking here for a few weeks. I'm in the middle of week 3 of my paleo journey and I honestly couldn't possibly have expected any better. I'm down almost 11 pounds (5'11", 229 when I started, 218 today) and my energy level is thru the roof. I also find my appetite has curbed dramatically and I'm not near as hungry throughout the day as I used to be.
Anyway... I'm starting to get a little sick of coconut oil. My GF and I are always looking for newer recipes and such... We've tried Paleo Zucchini "bread", Pumpkin muffins, etc. A ton of these recipes call for coconut oil, and I can't seem to get past everything tasting like coconut.
So I'm wondering if there are other Paleo-friendly options out there that you can't taste as much when used in cooking. How are Almond Oil and Sunflower Oil? Any suggestions welcomed!! Thanks.
