80/20 Paleo for the last two months; last night, at a family gathering, I just HAD to break down for 2 rolls of lumpia (basically a fried egg roll) I was fine up until this AM, my body is incredibly nauseous - I'm downing water, had eggs and beef for breakfast, and munching on a banana to help but its not a vast difference. How can I get this bad stuff OUT of my body ASAP?

FAST & drink coconut water to hydrate. Magnesium Citrate to help move things through. |

probiotics, heal that gut! Kefir, kombucha (I love the ginger kombucha) are great ways to go if you can tolerate it. And bone broth if you can get your hands on some. |

Chill out, tea, broth, a bitter drink like chamomile if you can stomach it (gets the digestives flowing!). This too shall pass. |

Well, you could vigorously exercise but I'm sure that would be quite unpleasant. Massage your stomach or take a few digestive enzymes (not HCL) or just wait it out. |

Chill out for a while, stress will only exacerbate the discomfort. Get a good book, drink something soothing like broth or ginger tea, and relax. |

Relax... sounds like YOU are causing more harm to yourself than the food |

Chamomile or ginger tea until you feel less nauseated. Then drink a bowl of broth with some egg yolks thrown in. That always seems to soothe me. |

Second the ginger tea. Even just chewing on some chopped up pieces of fresh ginger, if you can stand it (kind of spicy). Ginger's a great digestion soother. I had a weird, sudden flare-up of nausea the other day and nixed it with ginger and ginger tea. |
