I've never put nuts in the refrigeration. How do you store them - in plastic jars, glass jars, or ziplock bags? What shelf/drawer in the fridge do you put them - with veggies? How cold do you keep them? Thanks.

In the fridge definitely. In a glass jar - only because it's neat though.

I just keep them in ziplock bags in one of the crisper drawers. They seem to be fine.

I don't think it really matters - fridge or freezer - as long as they are kept cool. I keep mine in the freezer because my fridge is usually so full of veges, left over lamb stew and containers of bone broth that I'm hard pressed to jam anything else in. I have a big fridge but I am trying to keep my whole family paleo so it gets pretty full. I love frozen brazil nuts - really crunchy. My pantry is empty though!

some in zip lock bags (pine and cashews), but the larger quantities of walnuts and almonds I put in glass mason jars. Easier to stack one on top of another and I keep them in the bottom of the refrigerator (the last shelf before the veggie drawers).

I keep the larger bags of nuts that I'm not getting to anytime soon in the freezer so they keep (my refrigerated ones are the soaked and dehydrated nuts ready to eat)

I don't refrigerate my nuts. Why would you? Worries over PUFA oxidation?
