Has anyone noticed a difference when taking digestive enzymes after a cheat meal? Do they help blunt the nasty effects of a gluten/vegetable oil laden meal?
I have no personal experience with them and am just wondering out of curiosity. I rarely cheat. Yesterday, I went out to a steakhouse for my brother's birthday and ordered grilled prime rib with a side of broccoli and although it tasted amazing, I knew there were probably some not-so-Paleo stuff added to them, albeit minuscule. But my friends and family do like to go out a lot and if I don't want to give up my social life, I'd like to have something handy if I decide to break the rules a little bit.
