There's not enough information here because a diet that will suit a 24-year-old 6'2" athletic male won't work for a 40-year-old 5'3" sedentary housewife. How much do you weigh, what is your height, how old are you? What exactly are you eating? How many times a day do you eat? What kind of exercise are you doing? |

As a newbie to the Paleo diet world I had a full week where I was getting adjusted to the "new " life style. During that week (I think it was week 2) I was afraid to eat as much as I wanted and then became hungry. This is not a diet, it is a life style. You are reducing the amount of fat storing insulin that is produced by eating the wrong foods. Feel free to eat and avoid the unhealthy foods such as grains, beans and the carbohydrates derived from these foods. Happy eating and welcome to your new life style!! |

You just starting out? It's probable that if you're just starting out you're feeding your body fat and your body's going "where's my damn sugar!? I need my sugar!" Eat, lots, enjoy the right foods. Eventually your body will realise that sugar aint coming back and will learn to love fat. |

As others have pointed out, you may still be experiencing "carb flu" if you're just starting out. If you've been strict paleo for a while and are still experiencing cravings, I would recommend running your diet through FitDay and seeing if you are majorly lacking in any nutrients. Your body might be trying to tell you something. Also check your macronutrient ratios; it never hurts to add more fat- fat increases satiety. If this doesn't work, you might want to look into Jack Kruse's leptin reset protocol if you have signs of being leptin resistant (excess abdominal fat, always hungry, binge eating, crave carbs, especially at night). http://jackkruse.com/my-leptin-prescription/ Hope this helps! |
