I live in Japan, where the food's a little different, and I've devised a typical day's paleo menu I think I can afford. Will it make me healthy? What is lacking? What is redundant?
6 jumbo eggs 2.5 cups of coconut milk 4 ounces of Spam 50 grams of natto 1/2 avocado .5 cups sweet potato
Looking at cronomoter, it looks low in B1, B3, C, E, K, Calcium, Magnesium, Manganese and Potassium. But it assigns Spam almost no vitamins, which doesn't seem quite right, since a pork chop has a lot of Bs and whatnot.
Would I be better off eating chicken instead of Spam? What about ground pork? Or Chile farmed salmon?
Grass-fed and wild stuff are not really an option. Especially seafood, because it's all contaminated with cesium from Fukushima around here these days.
He is right about the contamination, it's been all over the news. And they are right about the Spam. SomethingPosingAsMeat is soooooooo not Paleo. You need some ruminants in your diet, badly!! They have a much better Omega 6 to 3 ratio.
Ohhhhh my. Please respect others culture. You may think spam is gross But it's very common in Hawaii. A simple 'perhaps you should try more Things like chicken, beef as close as you can'. I personally do not have the Budget for organic and/or grass fed everything for a famiky of 5 but I do my Best and feel that a paleo diet may it be imported or not is still.better than a SAD diet. I would ask, what kind of proteins can you get Where you are at? Goodluck to you Sir.
EWWW get rid of the spam! Lol. Yes. You would be better of eating the other items you mentioned. Your diet also seems low in calories. I would up the eggs a bit and definitely get rid of the spam and replace with a "real " meat. Sorry If I came off as offensive.
Spam? You live in a country where they have the best food in the world and you are eating Spam. I am speechless.
What about other vegetables? They have wonderful greens and fabulous berries!!! Bok choy? Chinese cabbage?
