I'm heading out to Kansas City and St. Louis for about a week each at the end of May. Does anyone know of any good Paleo Restaurants, grocery stores, or fun things to do? Thanks!

In KC: City Market Farmer's Market open Saturdays and Sundays. There are lots of other farmer's markets around town, depending on where you're staying, but this one is the biggest.

Gotta recommend this new butcher shop that just opened up: The Local Pig. Not only is it locally sourced (and usually grass-fed, free-range), but it is insanely tasty! They always have some really good sausages and head cheese.

City Market is amaaaazing! Go to the Steamship Arabia museum while you're there, too! – Grace Apr 29 2012 at 18:37

I HIGHLY recommend city museum for some play-based exercise! www.citymuseum.org

What sort of things are you looking to do in town? In Saint Louis, that is - I have no idea what's in Kansas City.
