How about seeds, pumpkin, sunflower.I know they are not 100% paleo, but roasted can satisfy cravings for crunchy stuff, also you can make/buy seed butters.

I'm in a similar situation: Nuts and seeds cause rheumatoid arthritis flareups for me. So I have replaced them with.......

Avocados!

Not to be snarky, but how about meat/fish/chicken/fruits/vegetables?

I'm not allergic to nuts but I don't really eat any. If you feel the need to snack try eating bigger meals.

I am as well. Egg yolks is what I use.

I know it sometimes seems like Paleo folks are all a bunch of nut fiends when you read the blogs and cookbooks, but actually many of us don't eat nuts or eat very few. I'm on a strict low oxalate diet which means I can only eat coconut - no tree nuts. That's fine with me. I don't see any reason to eat nuts. It does make Paleo baking more difficult since you are limited to coconut flour and sunflower seed butters for your flour/oil base, but I don't find I need to substitute anything for nuts in the rest of my diet.

I am too! :) Welcome to the club! I would replace them with high quality organic extra virgin olive oil for vitamin E.

Who cares about nuts when there are so many other delicious foods!

EDITED: - Now when I am eating raw foods, I am no longer allergic to them! Go figure!

I am extremely allergic to nuts as well. Pure delete. They never happened.

I'm not allergic, but I never eat them because they are so easy to binge on. I don't replace them with anything.

Sometimes I snack on coconut flakes.
