I just found this quite new blog by a former 811 disciple. It's an open forum for raw vegans to post their problems with the diet, poor teeth, weight gain, depression, etc. The premise is that the 30Bad site makes it a point to delete any posts that make negative comments about the diet, while anyone (including Durianrider under some assumed monikers) can post whatever they want. The posters include vegans, vegetarians and some paleo peeps. Pretty amusing!

Nice. Inevitable :) when I was into raw veganism, I knew of another forum where any slightly opposing views were deleted --it was Alissa Cohen's forum. You were supposed to only write anything that fell into "fan of alissa" category. Most of the people on that forum just post about how hard it is to stay on the "diet"....kindof a clue that it isn't a good idea in the first place duh??? :) Alissa Cohen was/is as ignorant of nutrition as Durianrider. I am still friends with a lot of raw vegans on FB and although I've hidden most of them from my feed because they're so ridiculous, I noticed one in particular (initials B.E., location California) who had been doing it for a few months, and then was doing nutritional consulting. This is the level of blind leading the blind that there is in that community. They're still feeling good from initially going off standard american diet but know nothing about the big picture, and then literally charge other people for nutritional coaching. It's all so nuts. :)

"It's all so nuts." Nuts are allowed on a vegan diet. – Warren D May 2 2012 at 21:09

Welcome Tiffany! So is your switch to paleo recent or are you a pro at it now? – Shari Bambino May 4 2012 at 2:24

Durianrider AND Freely both banned me on YouTube because I had done the unthinkable...I asked a question...

It's not their fault! The lack of saturated fat in their diet caused a reduction in brain size. – Roth May 2 2012 at 20:34
I listened to an interview that Durianrider had conducted and he said (Para phrasing) that it's a persona of himself that you’re seeing on YouTube because if he didn’t come off as controversial everyone would just pass by his videos. To me, the premeditation of willful harm is staggering…people are free to make their own choices and of course, you should take everything you read with a grain of salt, but this guy and his puppet are dangerous to the less informed. LOL! That website rocks socks. It's awesome. You have to creep on it sometime. Durianrider trolls on it 24/7 with multiple fake account!

Yeah, and he posts the same photos of him and Freelee over and over and over.I wonder how much longer they can last on their fruitarian diet. A lot of these people really really wanted this diet to work. – ChrissyV May 3 2012 at 16:56

" " But fruit makes you obese they say " He sounds like a broken record repeating the same things.. Over.. and over.. and over.. – Meatymichael May 3 2012 at 17:25

I must say I've never seen anyone complain about the paleo diet whereas with vegans etc it's pretty easy to find
