I've been reading a lot about the diets of Inuit, Masai, protein sparing modified fasts, etc. I'm curious, does anyone have information on their stool? My diet is low carb, fatty to moderately fatty meat, fish, fowl, and eggs. I usually eat a big salad every day, but if I skip it, even for one day, my stool turns into little nuggets and feels scratchy as I pass it. Are these primarily meat-eating cultures just dealing with extremely hard stools?
Edit: Lacking a salad, the next day my stool is a 1 or 2 on this scale. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bristol_Stool_Scale
