I knew a big side effect of Paleo was weight loss but I wanted to take back control of the foods I was eating and remove the cravings I was having. I am the product of parents who are both type 2 diabetics so the odds of me also having diabetes were almost a certainty and where my weight was heading I needed to take back control.
I’ve been losing about 8 pounds a month for about 4 months-ish now and I have become so fascinated by what my body will do on its own without exercise (I do walk, but I really don’t count that as exercise for me, and for me only) that I’ve been hesitant to exercise at all…and I’m not going to lie, I want to be able to say I lost BLANK amount of weight with diet change ALONE..NO EXERCISE…but I am a realist as well…I know I will want to exercise and I’m starting to get the bug…but what would you do?
Would you pick a somewhat arbitrary number like 20% of your body weight lost and then exercise, or would you just wait and see what your body is capable of?
