At the Paleo Summit I believe it was Dr. Allison Siebecker, a Naturopathic Doctor, that stated your poop should float in the toilet. This is one indicator that it's healthy.
My poop sinks and has been my entire life for as long as I can remember. It will once in a while float.
Does your poop float or sink? Is either way ok or should it really float?
I want to know the truth!
yes, it's true a healthy poo should sink. A proper diet is rich in meats and plants...the whole sinking=stinking, floating=gloating is just a myth propagated by vegetarians who can't admit there sh*t doesn't stink, (which it does both literally and figuratively as is the case with every last one of us) and that their colons and pelvic floors are not strong enough to contain the egregious amounts of plant matter their taking in to stave off malnutrition for another day.
furthermore, soooo many vegitarians I know are ridiculously fat, obviously the scales are completely tipped by the overly carnivorous masses, but this as a result of a "healthier" lifestyle choice means it's just the opposite and that their body is taking the same course of action that an anorexic person's would, or someone who skips breakfast....their bodies slow down metabolism and convert more of the simple sugars in their means to fat causing them to balloon, that's because again, they adhere to this idea that poop should float, but it shouldn't (regularly anyway, because lets face it, no one's perfect) and therefore they're complacent to expel their "waste" before proper digestion, resulting in a regularly fed form of "starvation."
Mine sinks, its annoying as I analyse every poo and when I try to grab it as its coming out my hole, sometimes it slips so I have to get my hand wet. Anyway,a healthy poo should always sink.
