OK for the past week or so, immediately after I eat my first meal of the day (which is usually meat/eggs/bacon/veggies), I notice a significant increase in my heart beat and my head gets all dizzy (in a good way) and I feel really hyper and jumpy (in a good way) and I wanna laugh and scream and dance and hug people. I have no idea what it is but it's kinda funny and weird and I kinda love it but I'm also kind of confused so what is this new feeling I am feeling? I have not added anything new to my diet and I've been eating this way well over 6 months.

I cannot say I've ever had this kind of reaction. However, I recently realized that I would much prefer a bowl of steamed brussel sprouts with onion, coconut oil and garlic salt than a bowl of my favorite ice-cream. And if I could have some broiled salmon with it, I'd be in absolute heaven. That was when I realized I had completely converted to paleo. :) |

Paleo-ketogenic (up to 30-40 gr of carbs per day, and relatively low calories) brought bliss to me: http://eugenia.queru.com/2012/03/07/bliss/ |

Do you cook your breakfast in coconut oil or ingest MCTs before the elation period? Whenever I have a sizable portion of coconut oil, it always puts me in a really good mood, similar to what you mentioned. This is magnified if I add coconut oil to some coffee- talk about heaven!!! |
