I watched the video Danny Roddy put up of Ray Peat. It was very interesting in it's own right, and also sent me off looking for Gilbert Ling and Mae Wan Ho. So, I am looking at Ling's stuff, trying to figure out if it fits reality better than the standard model. He proposes an association-induction hypothesis to replace what he calls the membrane-pump theory.

Most of the research we look at assumes the latter model, which could bode ill for us if it is as erroneous as, for instance, the mainstream view of cholesterol. Is Ling on to something here?
