I was under the (possibly mistaken) impression that if I have a lot of fat in my diet that I shouldn't need to drink lots of water, that all that fat would serve as a lubricant to "keep things moving." I know that people who do high protein diets are told to drink lots of water but I don't think I'm eating lots of protein compared to all that fat I consume.
In any case, I'm wanting to understand the roles that water and fat play in producing poops that come out quick and smooth as mine frequently don't. And, I don't go out of my way to drink water. I'm not consistent with my water intake, consuming 32-64 ounces some days and less on days when I don't think about. I eat some vegetables and some fruit, which also contain water but perhaps not enough.
What are your experiences with the roles of fat and water? Did Grok drink lots of water?
