Somewhere on the paleo enterwebs a paleo blogger posted a recipe for butter-chocolate. It's where you melt butter and chocolate together spread it in a pan and refrigerate. I want to make some but I can't remember who it was or find a paleo recipe.

Anyone know who that blogger might have been? Or, have a recipe.

I have a sort of made up recipe for something similar. Melt some coconut oil in a small dish. Add cocoa powder until desired consistancy. Add a little vanilla and a bit of sweetener of choice. It will harden in the fridge if you want fudge. I like it melty and warm. Great for dipping frozen banana chunks in!

I know what you are talking about but don't have the link/recipe, but I make some of my own versions.

I take ghee, mash that til soft, then mix in coco powder (depends on your taste level) and add honey to taste for sweetening ( you could use something else but I only use natural sweeteners). Its not too chocolately really but my ratio is something like 1/4c ghee, 1/4c coco powder, 1 TB honey (I don't care for the taste of honey so I keep it light).

I put that in a jar and refrigerate (not necessary, but I do it so its harder and I don't eat it all at once!)

I think it was called 'butter fudge'

My HCG-diet friend calls that stuff Cocoa Crack. :)
I don't like the stuff personally. Whenever I get a chocolate craving, I reach for a high quality dark (at least 80%) chocolate, and even then will only eat one square at most. And while it may seem expensive, it's actually cheaper (both monetarily and caloric) in the long run, as that little piece satisfies my craving much more than an entire package of the "check-out counter" types (those things are N-a-s-t-y with a capital N).
