It may sound as if I'm too lazy to find this stuff on my own but that would be far from the truth. I've been to a bunch of stores and searched the net for a retailer. Nada. I think shopping on the net can be great but so is supporting local stores and the convenience of being able to purchase things without shipping.

Anyone have a source?

Coconut oil has a large amount of MCTs in it (60-70% iirc). And it's way cheaper. – Dave S. May 22 2012 at 17:25
Amazon sells MCT oil. – Dave S. May 22 2012 at 17:33
@Dave S.: I make salad dressings using MCT oil--that's kinda hard to do with regular coconut oil! It is more expensive, but that it's liquid and pretty much has no taste makes it worth the extra cost, IMO. – More Butter Please May 22 2012 at 19:11
Yes Dave, I know they do. There is a bottle of it in my kitchen from Amazon. As stated in my opening post, I am looking for the luxury of walking into a store and getting it off the shelf instead of waiting for the mailman. – RSB May 22 2012 at 20:33

I would recommend iHerb for this kind of stuff. They have NOW Foods MCT oil. – Korion May 23 2012 at 8:45

I saw MCT oil at GNC on the upper east side across from Reebok this past weekend, I suspect they would be at other GNC's as well.

Was going to suggest GNC. Coconut oil can be found many places, but the MCT oil is sold more as a supplement. – Evelyn aka CarbSane May 23 2012 at 10:59

I looked all over for it, too, with no luck. So buy mine online from Super Supplements (they're local to me here in Seattle, but their retail stores never seem to have MCT oil on the shelves). I buy enough at one time to qualify for free shipping (four quart bottles at ~$14 each), and while that sounds like a lot, I go through it so fast it's worth it. As soon as I crack open the last bottle in the cabinet, I order more.
