Ok, I'll make this brief, I have officially become overwhelmed by my issues and unable to guide myself forward on my own as my disordered eating thoughts are becoming too loud again. I have already been through treatment- extensive- for ED, depression, etc. but I still suffer from lupus (autoimmune), hypothalmic ammenorhhea, hypothyroidism, and yo-yo weight issues with compulsive eating/exercise thrown in. I am at the point where trying to hack this myself is only triggering me more and overwhelming me and I just don't want to think about it anymore but nor do I want to gain fat (I still have 10# to lose!)- I want to heal and get my period back and be able to maintain a healthy wieght without having to restrict so damn much. In short, I need someone who gets this craziness, especially in women, to guide me through it an support me so I don't have to be the only one doing it.

Does anybody know anyone who offers online and/or phone consultations who can do this?!!

I do nutrition coaching via phone or Skype & specialize in fertility/pregnancy--and many issues my clients deal with are similar to the ones you describe. I am also an EFT practitioner and have worked with emotional issues extensively.

Check out my website link on my profile page.

While you are looking for someone, I suggest getting your Vitamin D level tested, if you haven't already.

As someone who has read many posts, I've consistently noticed that Dragonfly is thoughtful and provides excellent, grounded coments... Personally, I wouldn't hesitate to contact her. Now that I know she offers this kind of coaching I may very well take advantage of it myself! – Jen May 27 at 17:10

Dragonfly, do you have any experience dealing with male reproductive issues, i.e. low testosterone? – College May 27 at 20:53

If you don't mind me asking, what have you done to help your husband? – College May 30 at 17:46

I am not a certified nutritionist, and I am not a doctor, by I am a nutrition & exercise consultant, and I want to help you. You are clearly suffering. I'll give you my nutritional advice for free, as a friend. Go to my website and give me a call.

I have trouble relating but the clip says it all. Don't go nuts trying to balance every mineral and vitamin, just eat real food. Grill some chicken or other lean meat, eat some veggies, toss in a handful of nuts, figure out what tastes good to you besides processed foods. Move, run jump lift heavy things and your body will respond....

I appreciate the comment, but when you have a lot fo really complex issues and a disordered eating background this doesn't really work – JASmith May 28 at 15:08
