I work at Target with very little ambitions in life. Thanks to my diet, exercise, mental training and meditation, I am one of the top team members at my target. (4 out of a 100+ workers got the max pay raise) However, for years I've been learning to trade forex, and futures. It's a brutally challenging job with a huge pay off. I want trading for pure freedom and not excess wealth.

I'm a (female) firefighter. 21 yrs next month. I work 24 hours shifts and right now have a great bunch of guys that I work with. They are mostly young, and very health/exercise conscience. However, they eat a lot of sweets and that is hard for me to "live" with sometimes.

I am the head honcho for a very large medical practice. Its difficult everyday to see the lack of integration between nutrition (true nutrition, not the USDA pyramid) and medical problems. Also all of the problems that we, as patients, inflict on ourselves by not investing energy into improving our own health.

A brand new RN starting my job next week in a STICU. I graduated this month so I'm still holding back jumping with joy.

I'm a cook in a bar/restaurant that specializes in carbohydrates and huge portions haha. And yes, its really hard to stay paleo sometimes. None of the food on our menu is paleo, so I completely rely on food I bring and have to resist the urge to eat all the free food that I can. Even though the fries look SO GOOD

Wall Street law - it's wearing on me. 30, female, recently married, just wanting to go homestead somewhere, how I grew up. I wonder if I needed to prove something, to be able to get to the "top" coming from a very poor family in a rural area. To prove to myself that I could, but I yearn for a more natural life. 20 more years of this could put me in a great spot of power, but sometimes I feel like it is against what I want in my heart. The further I go into maintaining my current lifestyle, the more indebted to it I become. I don't really like that. But I don't know what to do. Well that felt nice to vent.

I'd like to be a professional writer of comics/movies/television/whatever I'm fortunate enough to write for...does that count for anything? Hopes? Dreams? Anyone?

I had an office job when I first went paleo, never again. I'm not a career oriented person in general, but whatever I do for a living from now on, I am willing to trade higher income for being able to stand/walk/move at work - sitting at a computer makes me mega depressed.
