Have you tried these? http://www.sheex.com/

I learned about them from Zeo blog. They claim to be able to drastically improve sleep, but honestly I am very sceptical.

Most fabrics would be better than the hugely overrated fabric that is cotton and they sure look comfortable enough, a little pricey though. That said they are cheaper than silk sheets. If money is no problem I would buy some if I were you. I would like some sheets made of merino wool, that would be the ultimate sheets for me. – FuelRestMotion May 29 2012 at 12:03
Old-school cotton that is not treated with chemicals is quite possibly just as wonderfully smooth and comfy as silk! Unfortunately, you can only buy it in some specialty shops and yard sales and the like but it is truly a wonder. – EDubs May 30 2012 at 1:34

I can't wrap my head around paying that much for a single set of sheets.

agreed. I have a pillow-topper that we picked up from a department store that does a pretty good job at dissipating heat. As much as I love my performance fabrics - don't know if I could swing that much to have a bed covered in them. – Joshua May 29 2012 at 17:16
I can see paying that much for high-end natural fabric, but $200 for a set of sheets made of polyester and spandex? No way! – Alex May 30 2012 at 12:54

personally, I sleep in pure silk liners [for sleeping bags], very soft and affordable. They are very packable, lightweight and I like the antimicrobial part.

The company for sheex seems to rely on polyester which makes them light as well but perspiration and non-natural fibers do not do well.
