Anybody else have this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xanthelasma. I have had these since before paleo,(over 2 years now). I noticed that one has gotten slightly bigger lately. It's a cholesterol marker, but none of the literature mentions HDL, LDL levels. Just want to see if anyone has looked into this or had them removed. Thanks.
On the wiki page you linked to they said it is most likely hereditary and will grow over time and no direct link has been connected with dietary cholesterol.
I don' know, how fast are they growing? If they are growing in leaps and bounds since diet change I would certainly entertain the idea that they could be influenced by diet, but if they are growing slowly that just sounds like the nature of the beast.
