It is interesting on many levels that Nike is doing clinical trials on Vibrams. Does anyone know if the results were published anywhere?

a "clinical trial" for running shoes, sponsored by Nike, in which two of the shoes tested are Nike products? Let me guess. They're going to find lots of problems with the Vibrams and the Nike mid-minimalist and full-support will be shown to have fewer "adverse side effects". You heard it here first, folks. Go buy your Nikes.

Yeah, just think of the liability if the trial ends up showing that the Nike shoes do cause damage. They could potentially be sued by everyone whose ever run in a pair of Nikes. My other prediction is that maybe Nike is trying to take over Vibram. – Caveman formally known as Dan Jun 5 at 12:11

Not results, per se. But the blog of one of the study participants (and she adheres to a paleo lifestyle as well!!): http://primalfeetrunning.blogspot.ca/. In her words:

Female, chiropractic assistant, BC Canada: My name is Karla and I write "Primal Feet Running" to share my experiences as a participant in a UBC minimalist running shoe study. I have been running for about 5 years and have recently enjoyed a lot of personal success in running. I also embrace the Paleo lifestyle. Thanks for reading!
