I was wondering if i could do a carb refeed twice a week since my carbs are roughly 100-140g per day, im already in strict calorie deficiet roughly 1200-1500 calories per day, and im doing the insanity workout

If you're working out really hard many are able to do lasting workouts on low carb; however, I don't really consider 100-140 grams low carb so carb refeeds may not be necessary.

Since you're already tracking your workouts, do you track your food regularly? If so track for two weeks and see how your soreness is. Then increase carbs up to around 200 grams and see if you notice a difference. Watch out for placebo effect, but this is the best I can do. Try to keep it remember to use healthy carbs.

More importantly are you getting enough protein with that caloric deficit?

Many people say 1 to 2 grams per pound. I attempt to hit 1 gram and it can be hard, but if you're feeling sore you might want to try that too. Just experiment and track like you're doing. Find what works best while still trying to eat healthy! – goodz Jun 7 at 20:19

Low Carb in my opinion is less than 100 grams, more like under 50 grams...

Refeeds aside, I would NOT by any means be doing the Insanity workout on so little calories, especially considering you're male.
