Dr Andreas Eenfeldt has also written a book - only in Swedish and Norwegian yet I think - and his area of interest is curing obesity as a start and primal diet after that, so the bias against fruit and root vegetables makes sense in that context.
A good website with a lot of followers and a big diet movement in Sweden.
Dr Eenfeldt was a presenter at AHS 2011 and it was one of the best presentations I saw. "The guy" is most definitely a part of our community. LC paleo/primal/whatever is going to be low/no fruit/sweet potato so his diet recommendations fit right in with that. I'm LC paleo and have been for years and I eat exactly as Andreas prescribes. Paleo Atkins exactly and not ashamed to say so. I am against fruit and sweet potatoes, etc for ME. There are many paleo/primal eaters who feel the same way. Usually the really fat ones who are trying not to be so. This is an accepted and acceptable way of eating within the paleo template. I think more people who seek weight loss of a significant amount would be wise to listen to what Dr. Eenfeldt has to say.
I’ve been following the Paleo or Primal lifestyle for the past few months and have watched my life change before my eyes. I’m down over 45 pounds and feel great. I wrote a review about my experience here if anyone is interested. http://mikeshonestreviews.com/paleoprimal-diet-review
