Anyone able to read Nephropal?

Nephropal.blogspot.com

I went to read an article on uric acid and got an error for "invited readers only"

Dissapointing as this was one of the blogs I followed regularly.

Edit: Nephropal has relieved for 2011 by popular demand!

Thanks, Stephen. It turns out it wasn't private at all, just nonexistent. nephropal.blogspot.com/2010/12/… "Happy New Year! Billy and I thought we were retired from blogging. However, we received many requests to 'be a member of the blog' which in reality was shut down. I appreciate the kind words emailed to us. As such, Nephropal will continue." – Paul Jan 2 2011 at 0:35

while i've read some intertesting info there in the past, i honestly don't care for the guy who does a lot of the posting. not dr t but the other guy.. billy is it? not sure. anyway, i don't know why they've decied to go this direction, but my personal experiences as an infrequent commenter there lead me to believe that perhaps he's tired of random people telling him he's wrong..

seems like a mistake since it means no one can access it unless the blogger give permission and there is no way to contact the guy. I am guessing its temporary, a mistake, or they've been hijacked.

True could be a mad Christian/vegan hacker attack! – Stephen-Aegis Oct 21 2010 at 16:06
I wonder if Patrik has noticed an uptick of vegan hacker attacks on PaleoHacks. – MikeD Oct 21 2010 at 17:57

yeah seems strange, I certainly have some issues with some of the stuff he posts but still read it. It's unfortunate if this is the path they have chosen. Though it does seem odd to go private with no warning.... I guess time will tell.

I thought he had moved over to http://evmedsociety.blogspot.com/ and there might be migration issues.

No wait, that evmedsociety has been there starting in June, 2010. But then Nephropal was described as an "extension" of that site, a sister site. So there was a move, but it was Nephropal that moved to evmedforum.com (or both addresses took you to the same place). If you go to evmedforum.com you get the same message. I think I have all that right. Please correct if necessary. – Paul Oct 21 2010 at 23:41
I think he may be forcing people to use their real names, to increase the signal and limit the noise. – Adam Crafter Oct 22 2010 at 2:08
