My second post here.
I think I know the answer to my own question but a little reassurance from some others never hurt. So I don't think I am getting the results I was really hoping for in terms of weight loss.
I do have a fruit smoothie almost every day. I do partake in greek yogurt consumption. I eat almond butter. I use coconut flour and almond flour for various cooking and baking. If I really want to amp up the weight loss, I think I will have to curtail the aforementioned goodies?
Also, this is a bit funny now that I think of it. But I did pose a question to Robb Wolf for the podcast. I was under the impression that IF fasting would be a day you wake up and don't eat for that entire day? He simply stated that IF could mean not eating after 6 pm until maybe 9am the following morning. I could totally do that and do that quite a bit. I was just a little frightened of IF because I'm the type that needs to eat 6 small meals or snacks because I do become hypoglycemic if I space my meals too far apart. But I also think it may be a mental mechanism. I think if I realize "oh my gosh I haven't eaten, and I think I'm feeling weak". Sometimes food is not a priority and other times it is.
My question is what is the best way to really start seeing some better results. I do exercise 20 minutes a day 5 days a week. Thank you!
