i zig zag my calories during the week and i do the insanity workout(month 2), is it okay to EOD refeed, since my calories when im not reffeding is low, like around 900 calorie( i know it is low, thats the point of zig zagging cals), but i bump it up to 2500-2800 cals on refeeds, whould this work for cutting the last 4 pounds? btw EOD stands for Every Other Day

here are my thoughts on this. 900 calories is low, but as long as you aren't using your carb refeeds as an opportunity to feed into binge-like behavior, it is certainly an effective strategy for carving up your body. I especially like the strategy because it takes the monotony out of eating.

Keep doing it if you're noticing results and you feel well. Once that changes, if it does, try something different and repeat the process.

Good luck, and I hope you end up looking like a Greek god, or something close to it. That's what I want to do :)

Post a couple days of eating. But if it seems to work for you by all means keep doing it. 900 cals seems low though, I don't think you need to cycle cals that much. Plus, if you feel fatigued even more reason to up calories on non-refeed days.

i have done 3 days high(2500-3000) and 3 days low(800-1000) plus close to zero carbs on low days – mike Jun 15 at 14:10
