Anybody out there using Aniracetam or other Racetam nootropics?

I'm aging and beginning to feel the effects in my mental acuity. Was curious about others' experiences.

Thanks.

Piracetam does work especially if you are dead tired and you need to be alert at work or school. I also use Aniracetam and Choline Bitartrate with it for enhanced focus and concentration, as my days are seriously hectic at some points. I would say Piracetam is a steady build up and it could take days to weeks for the effects to be maximized. At that point of noticeable effects, you are in the clear. Just don't forget to take it too much at that point. Most of the sources I use come from Smart Drugs for Thought and my experience with them is smooth and easy. Actually, I would like to add something here. Before my use of Piracetam and Aniracetam I was very skeptical about them, as they are dealing with the brain. I did a ton of reading on longecity, drugs-forums, and some outdated journals on Erowid. It's always a virtue to study on whatever you ingest before you take it, but I can tell you that I personally have not noticed any side effects or health issues with the use of the Racetams and the Choline of course. Hope this helps and good luck to you.

P.S. - I would strongly recommend refraining from the use of Adderall or any substance like it. The come downs suck and the side effects are horrible.

Thanks! I've been researching a lot too. – scottts Jun 22 at 13:38

What about a choline supplement, like citicholine, cdp choline or DMAE? Or even just DMAE rich fish like sardines and salmon?

Thanks. I already get a lot of choline by eating egg yolks and liver daily. Not knowing about DMAE I do eat a lot of salmon. Just looking to maximize the ability to concentrate as safely as possible. – scottts Jun 17 at 4:50

I tried Piracetam a while back (for about two weeks, with some choline supplements), but I didn't notice any effects whatsoever. I'm interested in anything that can improve concentration.

I've got some experience with Piracetam.

My most recent dosing (2008) was done with an "attack dose" of 8g at once on the first day, then one gram 3x daily, moving up to 3 grams 3x daily. I was also taking choline supplements during this, since I heard that racetams deplete choline stores.

I noticed that colors were sharper, more vibrancy to my vision, although this might be the fact that this was during the beginning of fall. I tended to be a little more relaxed, and study was a little easier to do, as in I wasn't distracted so easily and wanted to do other things. I also felt that knowledge recall was a little easier during exams, although this might be the effects of me being calmer. Although since it was a while back, I can't remember all the effects it had perfectly.

There's also an experience written on erowid, about how piracetam is good for an 'old guy', might be interesting to read. Also, erowid is another source for you to read concerning nootropics.

Thanks for the link Bristlebeard, I'll check it out. Since you cant rememebr the effects clearly, I guess you should have stayed on the Piracetam! Just kidding of course. – scottts Jun 17 at 16:49
Haha, yea. Now that you mention it, I am kind of thinking of starting another cycle of it. I think I still have some lying around at home - I was getting it as a bulk powder, in 500g containers. – Bristlebeard Jun 17 at 18:58

Piracetam works!!! It can be used individually, but I find it works best in a nootropic stack. There are products now that are using Piracetam based stacks as cognitive enhancers. They have become so popular that they are being called "Adderall Alternatives," for healthy over achievers looking for the benefits of a smart drug without the connection to ADHD treatment.

Could you please provide links to such stacks. – sargon Jun 18 at 20:47

I've noticed a change in the "Why did I just walk into this room?" routine when sleep deprived, or "Where did I park today?" At first the answer took a couple of seconds to come back to me, now it's almost instant.

Obviously the fix here isn't to take piracetam, but to get more sleep, but it seems to help against those effects.

You want amazing truely mind bogglingly effective racetam experience either mix your own paracetam with DMAE and Aniracetam and Huperazine, take with choline and inisotol and krill or fish oil. Prepare to be astounded...

RealNZT is a prepared smart drug stack, it's a really effective incrediblely psychoactive racetam & additive supplement, tailored to the individual by the manufacturer. It's not cheap.

I take piracetam and it's legitatemetly changed my life. I had a series of concussion from the ages of 12-17 from kickboxing, which left me with some pretty shitty short term memory and lack luster long term memory. Taking piracetam has been really helpful in helping me concentrate and remember events in my life :)

I've tried several Racetams, and even given Noopept a go recently. From my personal experience the best results I have gained has been through a combination of Piracetam, Pramiracetam, and L-Theanine.

I used to order my Racetams through Amazon but it seems that most/all of the racetam listings have been removed from Amazon so I have turned to ordering either from nutritionjjm's store on eBay or ordering through Smart Drugs for Thought. There is plenty of great vendors out there, I chose this one based off of their customer reviews in regards to product quality and shipping time.
