Funny how things that are "good for your hair" are also just "good for you" isn't it? Just can't wrap my society induced reductionistic brain around it! |

Anything high in D3 (e.g. get sunshine), Mg, and K2 Mk4, so the calcium gets absorbed AND distributed at the right places in the body. For calcium, most people can tolerate and get great benefits from home-made near-lactose-free goat kefir. Then, some liver to get enough biotin (although don't supplement with more than 1000 mcg a day). I personally also supplement with E-tocontrienols to help hair (make sure that it doesn't also includes tocophenols). Basically, get offal, bone broth, goat kefir, shell/fish in your diet and it might be required to supplement a bit on a few things (e.g. less biotin is produced by some individuals with IBDs so these might need to supplement occasionally). |

Gelatin and saturated fat. In that case, broth would help. |

Our cat eats hair. Does that count? You are what you eat and all that... |
