I heard that eggshells are eaten as calcium by women in a certain part of Africa, and that eggshells can be boiled and grinded into powder to mix with drinks and soups.
Anyone try eggshells as a calcium supplement?
And there is always the bones from broth. Are bones supposed to be reused until they fall apart? When do you throw the bones away? I thought about using bones as calcium when I chewed through a chicken bone (that was used for broth) and saw how soft it became.
And, if there is too much calcium unabsorbed, would we develop kidney stones..
