I don't have coconut oil in the house and I dont eat dairy. I know my body is craving fat, but I have already eaten two avocados! So simply put, how do I get more fat?
Butter is probably easiest - don't know if this counts as "dairy" for you. If it does, maybe you can use ghee? Just about any vegetable can take lots of either. Fatty meat and fish next. Then salad with lots of olive and macadamia oil. I consider eggs a high-protein-low-fat food.
if you eat nuts there is some good fat you can add there-of course in moderation (I always soak and crisp the nuts so they are better for you, easier to digest). Almond butter, unsweetened coconut is an excellent form and you can make coconut cream and milk from it.
healthy bacon (nitrate free)
fat from the skin of organic chicken, beef, duck while eating it! (I save the duck fat and add it to ground chicken which never has much fat)
Eggs - almond butter(eat it with a banana out of the jar - it's fantastical) chicken - fatty steak(once I realized fat was omgood, fatty steak is just filet mignon, basically...) - avocados as you've been doing, sardines/canned salmon(these two give me awesome clarity and energy).
I suppose if you don't eat dairy it tends to be a bit harder...but if you can tolerate butter, grassfed butter + coffee nets one somewhere around 30g of fat before 10AM(us coffee/butter addicts are probably annoying.)
