Im 28 emaciated with fibro and the hormones levels of someone older than me.

Are there any blogs or books that target strength training for someone like me? Huge thanks

Holly, I worked as a personal trainer for years with older women and a younger woman with fibro and my fave book is Strong Women Stay Young by Miriam Nelson, PhD.

That said, it may be worth focusing on balancing your hormones/addressing fibro symptoms first & do gentle walking as much as you can manage.

Have you had your D level tested? I would aim for a blood level of 60-80 ng/ml. Also Zinc & Magnesium supplementation may help, in addition to a whole-animal Paleo/Primal diet.

Yup. Im good on those now but my magnesium was dangerously low for I don't know how long. I take a little estrogen cream but that's it. Thank you!! – holly Jun 23 at 1:55

Yes! Im low in ft3 I am low in estrogen. Tested low across the board. I also have an old whiplash injury and connective tissue disorder – holly Jun 23 at 14:47
