For the past few days I have hard a harder time waking up. I feel tired and have to force myself to get up and go to work. Its no where near as bad as when I was on the SAD but significantly worse then the "Lets Do This" feeling I usually have in the morning.

Has anyone has this feeling before? What was the cause (too much sugar, dairy, stress etc)

Help appreciated, Thanks!

I.e. gives us a day food log please :) – YoungPaleoLover Jun 27 at 12:06
Lets See: Meat + Vegetables, Turkey + Vegetables, Fruit. I don't really have a log since I ususally just take a protein, a vegetable and fruit for dessert. – Denis Jun 27 at 14:09

For me, I figured out if I had anything with refined sugar in the evening (such as dessert after dinner), I had a hard time waking up in the morning (like hangover style). A little fruit doesn't seem to affect me the same though.

seconded. this is why i am a huge fan of frozen blueberries - maybe 1/2 a cup. feels more like a treat. still just fruit. – karmapolicia Jun 27 at 15:31
I did have some refined sugar. Will experiment, thanks. – Denis Jun 27 at 22:55

For me, it often has to do with sleeping with my windows open and having certain airborne allergens on the wind.

How much are you sleeping? I'm more rested on less sleep.

Anything past 7-8 hours and I wake up more groggy than if I had been up earlier. (Which I've actually tested lately -- waking up at 5am naturally, but falling back asleep till 6 left me hitting the snooze button for about 30 more mins after 6 until I really HAD to get up)

There are a lot of different factors so it could be a range of things- Does it gradually go away as the day goes on or is it a consistent feeling of fatigue- if it is could be adrenal fatigue.... which is worsened by sugar/stress/improper eating and creates a vicious cycle of exhaustion no matter how much you sleep.
