For the past few days I have hard a harder time waking up. I feel tired and have to force myself to get up and go to work. Its no where near as bad as when I was on the SAD but significantly worse then the "Lets Do This" feeling I usually have in the morning.
Has anyone has this feeling before? What was the cause (too much sugar, dairy, stress etc)
For me, I figured out if I had anything with refined sugar in the evening (such as dessert after dinner), I had a hard time waking up in the morning (like hangover style). A little fruit doesn't seem to affect me the same though.
How much are you sleeping? I'm more rested on less sleep.
Anything past 7-8 hours and I wake up more groggy than if I had been up earlier. (Which I've actually tested lately -- waking up at 5am naturally, but falling back asleep till 6 left me hitting the snooze button for about 30 more mins after 6 until I really HAD to get up)
There are a lot of different factors so it could be a range of things- Does it gradually go away as the day goes on or is it a consistent feeling of fatigue- if it is could be adrenal fatigue.... which is worsened by sugar/stress/improper eating and creates a vicious cycle of exhaustion no matter how much you sleep.
