I just saw this another thread about paleo related movies and got me thinking about other movies, but in general related to Food.

The first that comes to my mind is Food Inc. which blew me away. Supersize me was iffy. I am going to rent King Corn and probably will see Babies if its any relevant. Throw in other documentaries/movies that you enjoyed seeing..

EDIT: I could compile the list below:

  1. Food Inc.
  2. Supersize me
  3. Fat Head
  4. King corn
  5. Fresh
  6. Flow
  7. Food Matters
  8. Future of Food (haven't seen).

Isn't Food Matters a raw vegan film? – Stephen-Aegis Oct 29 2010 at 11:46
So what is the synopsis on Food Inc.? I've been curious about this one... – PrimalStyle Oct 29 2010 at 17:06

Food Inc.: How agriculture has turned into a factory/industry with only a handful of corporations in total control. The plight of farmers who must do what the corp's say to survive - and how they barely survive at that. An inside look at farming, agribusiness, government (USDA/FDA) and the food supply. Has some fairly gross parts (ie. looking into a cow's stomach) and is definiately disturbing (Monsanto's evil lawyers). But at least they do a section on Joel Salatin's Polyface farm to give a ray of hope. Also featured is Michael Pollan of The Omnivore's Dilemma. – Dave S. Oct 29 2010 at 18:58

Fathead (blows Supersize me away), Fresh, and Flow (which is about water)

True, true, but to fully appreciate FatHead, Supersize Me should be seen first. (Since FatHead is, in essence, a reply to Supersize Me.) – Dave S. Oct 29 2010 at 19:00
