I'm desperate to get liver into my life, after being paleo for a good while now (though not 100%) I've yet to see any of the purported changes in skin and hair but I can't stomach the taste and I can't afford a blender
If I were to cook the liver then slice it up finely, bash it about with a rolling pin could I get it to a pre-chewed state and then sort of drink it??
Cut it up super small and add it to chili. I usually add it to meatballs, hamburgers, stew or chili using my blender (even a small magic bullet works and is seemingly affordable at about 20 dollars).Oh and make liver jerky (using lots of spices to masque the taste.
I too do not like Liver. I've created a way to eat it that I find more than acceptable.
Cut Liver finely into slices or very small chunks. Chop a clove of garlic. Cut up a few rashers of bacon, add salt and pepper and fry in Coconut Oil...
Been down this road myself!
I can't guarantee the safety of this practice, but I can say that in my experience with liver that was from a local farm, 100% grass fed, and frozen for a month+ prior to eating: I was able to make a slurry out of it in the food processor (raw), and slam it like a shot.
Gives you a serious kick of energy!
Those were a weightlifting fad for a while. Never actually tried them.
You can't afford a blender??? Go to the thrift store. Go to garage sales or look in the boxes they leave at the curb marked FREE after the garage sales. Or ask someone if they have an extra blender they're willing to part with.
