Does such a thing exist? I saw in a previous post that Chris Kresser was working on a tool for this, but haven't been able to locate it.

I've been using Paleo Track and obviously a strict Paleo diet does not jibe with the standard RDA. Would be nice to know if the pie chart of my macronutrient breakdown is healthy or not. Right now it averages around 75% fat, 10% carb, and 15% protein.

Thanks in advance for replies.

The general trend in paleo now seems to be that macronutrient ratios are not as important as food content and quality.

The numbers that you have shown are on the low carb side of paleo. It seems that many folks, some of who are a bit longer in the tooth, tend to favor lower carb ratios. Others who do not have the metabolic diorders already can get by with more carbs. Also, if you tend to have a lot of intense physical activity, you may find that carb replenishment is important.

Keep an eye on food quality, stay away from grains, added sugar, and seed oils and you have a good start.

Cheers, Tony

I'm hanging out at 65 % fat 10% carbs 25% protein. I've been playing with the ratios and I keep coming back to that as optimal for me personally. Any more than 25% protein and I start getting insulin issues. I'm trying out your ratio for the day and it's not quite working for me, feel a little gross.
