I'm looking for a Whole30 buddy to start July 9.
Anyone interested? I'm doing CrossFit and trying to give up the booze after the July 4th holiday.
Looking for overall health improvement and some weight loss.

I just started a whole 30 on Sunday. I'd be down to join you guys and continue on through August 9. Yesterday I started a "foods I'll eat on August 1" list so extending it might be really beneficial-- that list was a bad move for day 2. I do crossfit as well and am interested in comparing notes with someone also doing crossfit in regards to how it impacts performance. I'm far away in CA, but can e-mail. Read it starts with food (also the Paleo Solution and Primal Blueprint), been CrossFitting for 2 months and I love it. I recently did a nutrition challenge at my gym and had great results, but it seems that whenever I get going, I always slip up. I gained all the weight that I lost and now I feel terrible. What worked for me when I lost a ton of weight a few years ago (with frequent cardio and severe caloric restriction-- never again) was having a buddy. My room mate and I did it together and we kept each other accountable. I was just going to post looking for a buddy but it seems someone already did! 24YO female from Omaha NE. I keep trying and failing and I need support to reach my goals. Are you guys in? Is there a better way to do this than just emails? Maybe a closed facebook page or a blog so we can post and comment instead of email back and forth? I'm excited. It might be fun this time :) |

Me! Great idea. Day after my son's (8) birthday, too. Heather 37yoF Signed up for an intro 30 days at a small excercise studio (isometric toning workouts), I could start that day doing that as well, so perfect! |

Hi There, I just made a similar post today. I'm 44, female. I'd love to have some support and accountability. Also, I'd really like to compare notes with women over 40. I found my body and food needs changed a lot after 40. I posted another question looking for women over 40. If there is someone over 40 who want to work together on weight loss goals more closely, lemme know. I'm concerned this group is getting large and I think I'd be more attentive to my goals if I had 1 or 2 buddies who can give each other a little more direct attention with nutritional & emotional support. But I'm open to both. Not a crossfitter--more of a swimmer/runner/walker w/some sporadic weights. |

I'm in also! Tried a Whole 30 in April and only lasted about 3 weeks. Those darn sugars!! I am most interested in weightloss, beating my sugar demons and feeling great over all. I started on July 2 but with 4th and now I at a family reunion for the weekend... Well, I'm trying to do my best but it's not going so well... i would do it, but I raise dairy goats and probably eat yogurt at least 3 times a week, plus I put the milk in my coffee. Other than that I already don't consume any of the other things on the list. |
