Hi , I'am 18 , and I'am ibs sufferer, so I have been pale for 2 months, so I've cut off grains, dairy, sugars and legumes...

The problem is that since the beginning of spring I feel VERY weak.

During the winter I have been sleeping very little, because I used to go to bed at 4:00 am, and wake up at 9:00, so .. wrong rhythms I guess..

Since the beginning of spring I have been feeling very weak, I cut off all carbs from rice and pasta (I followed SPECIFIC CARBO, that's what I'am following actually)

I don't have some of the symptoms of the CFS like (pharyngitis; pain in the cervical and axillary lymph node; muscle and joint pain without inflammation or swelling of the same; headache of a different type from that possibly present in the past), I just feel weak some days during the day and especially after the lunch/dinner.

THINGS I EAT NOW ARE

DARK CHOCOLATE (A LOT OF IT) FISH CARROTS MEAT

THAT'S IT.

I DO NOT EAT :MILK , GRAINS , WHITE SUGARS , DAIRY , LEGUMES , FRUITS .

I DON'T EAT FRUIT CUZ I KNOW IT'S FULL OF SUGAR (FRUCTOSE ) AND I SHOULD AVOID IT.

WHAT DO YOU THINK MY PROBLEM CAN BE?

I THOUGHT OF ALL KINDS OF DISEASES ...FROM SCD TO MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS...

I'AM REALLY AFRAID ... I'D LIKE TO SEE SOME OPINIONS!

THANK YOU A LOT..

PS : MY BLOOD TEST WAS ALLRIGHT, NOTHING WRONG WITH IT.

Eat More! Living off 4 items of food is not healthy at all. More calories, more fat, more varieties of vegetables. – AmandaLP Jul 5 at 13:56

Maybe you should slowly add some things back to your diet - fruit, sweet potatoes, other veggies, some carbs, butter, cream - and see what makes you feel better.

I feel that balance over time makes for a good diet and it seems like your diet is VERY limited, and your body is telling you it's time to expand your dietary range.

I concur....expand your dietary horizons. Fruit is ok to eat....obviously don't eat gobs of it but a serving or two a day may help increase energy. I am recovering low energy as well and I found that increasing my carbs a bit (to include sweet potatoes, occasionally even heirloom variety "white" potatoes, and some fruit really helped. Also vitamin D as Patrick suggested along with the other vitamins are also important. I hope you feel better soon. Soundalike you have made some good choices regarding food, just add a bit more variety. – Karin Jul 5 at 3:59

If your symptons are causing you stress I'd suggest you see your doctor. In the mean time, here are some ideas to consider. IBS can result low absorption of vitamins and minerals since these are absorbed in the intestines. Many people today are deficient in vitamin B12. B12 and CoQ10 are critical for energy regulation in the cells so deficiencies will make you very weak and tired. Grass fed liver, wild raw oysters, and pastured eggs are all high in B vitamins and other essential nutrients. I eat these regularly and I take a 1mg b12 methyl cobalamin supplement once or twice a day. I also take 100mg of Ubiquinol CoQ10 twice a day.

A majority of people today also have low vitamin D levels. A 25 hydroxy vitamin d level above 35 ng/mL is considered "in range" but optimal level is 70-75 ng/mL. The vitamin d council recommends supplementing with 1,000 IU per 25 pounds of body weight for most people. If you decide to supplement, be sure to take vitamin D3 and not D2. Be sure to have levels tested regularly and adjust D3 dosage accordingly. I hope you feel better soon, and congratulations on making so many positive changes to your diet.
