In conducting a meeting do you prefer to sit in a boardroom around a table or take a walk?

I've found that taking a walk, even with a small group to be more productive than sitting around each other.

Is running a meeting whilst taking a walk paleo?

Interesting idea. It's a shame my coworkers wouldn't go for it. – raney Jul 6 at 14:46
perhaps if you mentioned it was a favorite of the late Steve Jobs – meta Jul 6 at 14:48
I agree that this would be healthy, but I thought HGs sat down quite a lot. – David Moss Oct 23 at 14:41

Walking and talking seems to work great for me. Not that I hold meetings. Theres something about punctuating conversation with physical movements. Not sure if its paleo, but its certainly a fairly common old cultural tradition, to have a conversation, or teach a lesson, or bond, over a journey on foot.

I like the concept but I have to admit that walking around with my co-workers and boss would NOT be pleasurable for me. I would like to get in and get out. I'll walk by myself.
