I think would like some "80% Dark Chocolate Reeses Almond Butter Cups" or "Dark Chocolate Bacon M+Ms".

I've mixed melted dark chocolate with coconut oil and put a bit in an ice cube tray in the freezer to harden (about 1/3 of the way up), then put some almond butter in and topped it with more of the choco mixture and put it back in the freezer. Pop them out and enjoy! – amanda Oct 31 2010 at 19:54

If they would just downsize the sugar load on the reese's, they would be a lot better. I could live with all natural peanut butter with no sugar and then dark chocolate on the outside. – Eva Nov 1 2010 at 1:49

Yep, gotta agree with Amanda. We did exactly that for our blog, minus the coconut oil in the chocolate (Mark Sisson put our recipe in his Link Love last weekend). Definitely a tasty treat - You can see our version with photos here: primal-palate.com/2010/10/… – The Food Lovers Nov 2 2010 at 1:30

A darker cleaner version of an almond joy.

Looks like I'm not alone. A quick search revealed this.

Holy friggin' crap! I can't believe I've never looked that up before. Anyone ever try these? They both sound awesome. Thanks! – Angelo - Latest in Paleo Nov 1 2010 at 3:49
saw this comment under a different topic Fake Nutella: 2/3 full jar of Coconut Oil 1/4-1/3 c almond butter, just for the nutty flavor 2-3 TBS 100% high quality cocoa powder, get the good stuff 1-2 tsp honey, just enough to sweeten slightly, but you should taste the nut and chocolate before any sweetness. Mix well and store in fridge. When you have emotional cravings, or need an afternoon snack, a spoonful does the trick. I also find it tastes more "naughty" and therefore I need less to satisfy my cravings. link|flag answered Jun 25 2011 at 3:23 Marie – Cally Jul 30 at 23:12

i was once hiking in europe, many years ago, and stumbled upon some mountain blueberries.

without exaggeration, i can say they were the most sublime thing i've ever eaten. i had them that afternoon on a mountainside meadow, picking them laboriously as fast as i could, and that evening at a campside restaurant, folded into some impossibly thin crepes. that was it - twice in one day, and never since.

in my fantasy hallowe'en, someone offers me a pint of them.

This makes me want to change my answer! I've had some pretty amazing wild blueberries here in Maine over the years, but you reminded me of my perpetual pining for the blackberries that grew near my house as a kid. Absolute perfection and superior (even back then) to any candy bar. – amanda Nov 1 2010 at 0:00
I eat very minimal fruit, and this sounds great, +1 – Stephen-Aegis Nov 1 2010 at 0:13
Does that contradict the old 'wild berries aren't that sweet' mantra? – Eva Nov 1 2010 at 1:51

Pemmican. Dried lean, rendered fat, mixed in equal proportions.

Paleo'ed Toblerone? Or Terry's chocolate orange or chocolate raspberry orange?? Milka? Cote D'Or dark chocolate toffees?

Guess European chocolate remade as paleo as possible is my theme here.
