I'm an avid reader, and quite the nerd. Before I went Paleo-ish, the only time I'd ever thought of what prehistoric/paleolithic peoples may have eaten was in the context of fictional literature - in my case, the Clan of the Cave Bear series, by Jean Auel. Now, when I'm chowing down to a big steak with a medley of veggies, or hunting up dandelions to eat, or picking my wild blackberries, sometimes I totally imagine I'm Ayla travelling across the Plains of Passage, and my pit mix and my cat are like Wolf and Baby. I know it's silly, but it's really super fun! Plus, (not that I think my diet is boring or anything, but...) I think it really helps keep it interesting, and thus, easier to stick with during moments of temptation!
Does anyone else let their imagination just run wild with Paleo thoughts? What does being/eating Paleo lead you to think and dream of? Do you think it helps you with your nutrition or lifestyle goals?
